HBO drops 'Inside the NFL'

Inside the NFL, a sports institution for 31 years, is ending its run on HBO. The network announced that today's season finale will be its last episode.

But the decision doesn't mean the end for the program itself. It's owned by NFL Films, which is looking to continue the show in conjunction with another network in the fall. I'm betting on NFL Network.



American Idol: You're on your own, suckaz

Since American Idol decided to just throw together a bunch of leftover audition clips for tonight's episode, we decided to take a little break until Hollywood next week. Hope you understand. As Simon would say, condescendingly, "Thorry..."

I need a dose of Iron

I think the Iron Man movie will be pretty cool. They have a trailer that's running on television but the Apple website trailer is longer. I feel like a fanboy.



Britney's Free!

Has it been 14 days already? No, but the L.A. Times is reporting that Britney has left UCLA Medical Center. No word yet on where she's headed.

Molly Ringwald is less than two weeks (Feb. 18) away from turning the Big 4-0.

And she looks pretty much the same.



Heath Died of Accidental Overdose

According to the New York City medical examiner, Heath Ledger's death was caused by an accidental mixture of prescription drugs.
From People.com:

"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine," said an announcement released Wednesday morning by office spokesperson Ellen Borakove.
