Sure, Coach Fran is sucking the life out of Texas A&M fans right now. And losing basketball coach Billy Gillispie last season after back-to-back NCAA Tournament runs was heartbreaking.

But, the A&M faithful had a chance to crack a smile yesterday, even if it was a built on someone else's sorrow.

Why? It might have had something to do with Gillispie's new team, the 22nd-ranked Kentucky Wildcats, getting its tail hand to it in a 16-point home loss to GARDNER-WEBB. That's right, Gardner-Webb, which became a Division I school in 2000-01.

Happy Birthday, coach. You made a lot of people's day.
