Lower Greenville bar Gezellig (Quick's nightclub review here) has the contemporary local classic "85 Feet and Falling" as its MySpace profile song, and that could mean only one thing. Sorta's in the house. And it's not just a set. It's "an evening with Sorta." Fancy! If you have any sense in that head, you should hightail it there after work, get a few beeras in your system, and be ready for the music at 9 p.m. Don't it sound good?

Oh, that reminds me -- has anyone caught one of Sorta singer Trey Johnson's solo sets at Barley House yet? I haven't been able to, so if there's anybody out there, tell us about it. That comment button isn't there for decoration. Not that it couldn't use a fresh coat of paint or a doily.
