Salim Nourallah world premiere

Tapete Records

Salim Nourallah, "Erased"
(left-click to listen; right-click and save target to download)

I'm excited to premiere a brand new song from one of my favorite Dallas musicians, Salim Nourallah. "Erased" is from his new album Snowing In My Heart, which hits both Europe (on Tapete Records) and the U.S. (as an indie release on iTunes) July 20.

Salim, of course, produced Snowing at his Dallas studio, Pleasantry Lane. I plan to visit him there and talk a lot more about the new album in coming weeks. In the meantime, check out this week's local music column to read some of his thoughts.

Hope you enjoy the early track. Let me know what you think of it. Salim plays Club Dada with Smile Smile and others on Saturday night.

NOTE: Beyond this post, the blog might be kind of quiet today. Don't blame us -- blame our daylong staff training session.

Comments

Salim is a musical genius. He's one of my all time favorite artists and humans.

Salim is not only a really fine musician, he's a wonderful and positive influence on Dallas Music, very encouraging and helpful to other musicians. I missed his show at Dada this past weekend, but hope to catch him at All Good with the equally amazing Eastwood this Saturday.

The show Saturday was fantastic!
