The 2007 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention, which opens to the public Saturday in Grapevine, has something that you don't see every day: a fashion show during which adults dress in Barbie outfits. You know you want to learn more.

My favorite part is the workshop called Tess' Big Hair Bonanza, where you can learn "instructions for creating a basic up-do, a swirl ponytail, a layered shag, and a big afro."
