You are going to read a lotta gush comin' off my keyboard when it comes to some of the musicians settled in DdFW. It can't be helped. Some of the talent living next door to us are so gush-worthy. Tonight's show at AllGood Cafe is one in which you'll find yourself delighting in gush for weeks and months to come. Doug Burr is quite possibly the greatest singer/songwriters known to mankind. Sarah Jaffe has the voice of an angel and the talent in her pinky finger compares to all the talent in Cleveland.

What is a "hoot night" you may Ask: It's a gathering of musicians who play songs based on an assigned theme. We'll be starting out with tribute shows where bands can play a few songs by a determined artist, ie. Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, Hank Williams, etc...

How will it work: 5-6 bands will get set up ahead of time through Callithump to play & will get renditions of 4-6 songs prepared by the hoot night artist of the month. They'll get to play & perhaps switch up with other musicians from other bands. The audience will have the opportunity to vote on the best tribute & prizes will be awarded.
